Episodes
I sincerely apologize that this episode is late – there was an FTP issue that I had to call in SmartestMonkey to fix for me. After literally hours of me struggling and him struggling, he finally fixed the issue. I only hope it remains fixed!
In Episode 16, Miss K dithers about the Tour De Fleece – you can check her knitting and spinning exploits on her knitting blog. She has finally finished the cabletini toe-up socks, by Wendy Johnson. You can go to the brassneedles group on ravelry to keep up with the knitalong. Lastly, Miss K shares that she had to start a Swallowtail Shawl – a second one.
In the science fiction portion, Miss K is joined by Smartest Monkey to discuss the merits and flaws of the recent film, The Watchmen. They watched the movie on Friday night with Jasmin of the Knitmoregirls, designer Chloe Sparkle, and their significant others. The conversation turns to the difference between sounding scary and sounding constipated and Miss K cracks herself up repeatedly over calling Dr. Manhattan “Physician Manhattan” and his big blue manties.

Episode 15 is all about the ‘Trek, baby. In Episode 15, Miss Kalendar expands…a lot… about her two spinning wheels. We learn that Miss K has a peasant constitution. We also learn that she takes forever to finish a sweater. Ah well, someday she’ll have a cardigan of her very own.
Miss Kalendar also describes a trip to LACIS, the lace and textile museum in Berkley. Hair Jewelry, can you believe it!
Lastly, Miss Kalendar goes into the subject of associating old ‘trek characters with new ‘trek characters and expounds upon theories brought up to her by her friend, Andrew. Piccard is the Super Ego. Enough said!

In Episode 14 we get an update on Miss K’s Tour De Fleece projects. You can view the progress at Miss K’s Knitting Blog. There’s a sweater update as well. There is a Sock update from ChrsthefixedKitty of the Adultspace Child Free podcast.
In the science fiction portion of the podcast, Miss K goes a little overboard with her chuckles. But, there’s a new game for everyone to play. Guess what sci-fi it revolves around? That’s right, Star Trek.
Enjoy!

In Lucky Episode 13, Miss Kalendar speaks on her knitting, her spinning, and the entirety of the Farscape series. She may also talk about the 4th of july weekend….
The knitting segment features the Abby Cowl from knitty.com, the Tour De Fleece spinning challenge, the Cabletini knit-along, and handmade crafting accessories.
There is no Gail this week as she was smart enough to escape to cooler climes!
The Sci-Fi portion of the episode focuses on what Miss Kalendar liked and didn’t like so much about Farscape. Overall, the series is good – if a little inconsistent.
