EP 73 does not have sci-fi or steampunk portion. This episode is all about knitting, the wool auction, and making do with what you’ve got by making it over into something lovely.
Episode 72 is about knitting, knitting, knitting, and more knitting.
Then there is the question of what makes a good captain….
Episode 71 may have been recorded when the host was just a little too punchy to be in front of a microphone.
Segements include:
Favorite Things
Neverending Queue
Something I really Like
Dizzy Blondes
and others that you know and love from other popular knit podcasters.
Hope you enjoy!
Episode 70 involves the usual:
A knitting and spinning segment
Some babble about Star Trek (in this case Voyager, specifically the end of season 3)
A dream Miss K had in which she was both Tom Paris AND Darth Vadar. Star Trek/Star Wars crossover dream. Actually, it is a Darth Vadar genesis story.
This is part two of the two-part series OMG, We’re Geeks, a discussion with Mr. Thorn on Star Trek, Scott Backula…..and Mr. Thorn’s strange 80s announcer voice. (I’d explain, but I don’t think I can).
Please enjoy!

In this episode there is a knitting update as well as a long and sometimes tangential conversation wth Mr. Thorn on Star Trek. It’s twice the Geekiness of a usual episode.
Oh yeah, and it’s only part 1. Part 2 will be posted next week.
Enjoy!
Miss K has a secret!
Want to find out what it is?
You’ll have to listen!
Oh, and why not have some fun with Zombie lore while at it?
Yes, a super secret episode for my vacation. You didn’t think I would leave for over a week and not give you even one episode to listen to, did you?
Also, there is a lot of me talking about why I looooooove the federation….and a lot of noise as I spin on Isolde with one of her chattery bobbins.
Ep 63 is very much about the beauty around us all – that’s right, Steampunk. Miss K has been noticing more and more of it around her as days go by – meaning that it’s finally working it’s way to becoming at least a little mainstream. This is fabulous – as it means that steampunk items for the home, kitchen, etc., will be easier to find and that places where your non-steampunk friends shop may also finally have something for you to play with.
Episode 60 is a recap (quickly) of the spinning day in Livermore and Miss K’s impression of BayCon. There is also a lot of sappiness as Miss K expresses her wish to see more cross-fandom love on the boards and invites everyone to come post on the boards about their sci-fi or other fandom loves and interes. Miss K, obviously, loves community.
Also, Miss K mentions that she’d like to have a read along of the Unincorporated Man, The first book in the Unincorporated Series. It is now out in paperback, in audiobook format, and in ebook format through Amazon. If you are interested, please let me know!
