Because this weekend was BayCon, the San Jose-based Sci-Fi convention (this year’s theme was Steampunk), there is are a few notes on this and the soon to be created Borg Beanie, which I am striving to write a pattern for this week. We shall see if ambition again lays me low.
Sadly, Gail Carriger is again missing from the podcast, and has lamented that her diligent searching hasn’t turned up anything podcast-worthy. Knitting has been conspicuously missing from the fashion pages. However, she assures me that she’ll have a report for us when she returns from the BEAs on Knitwear in New York.

Well, maybe not famous, but I did just find that part of a short interview I did while teaching knitting at SteamPowered Convention in October made it into an article online. The article is with Bizarremag.com. I would like to point out that I did not drop a stitch. link here.
