But first, a Tour De Fleece update!
Miss K is move a third of theway to her goal of spinning 28 oz of victorian pink cormo (pink and brown, somewhat antique in feel). Because she’s gotten so far so fast (Thank you Holiday Weekend), she’s also working on her Aeolian and even learned a new beading technique (thank you Jasmin and Gigi!).
Now, on to Moon – what can I say? You’ll just have to watch it and see what you think. Smartest Monkey and Miss K both agree it is worth a watch and should be watched for lovers of hard sci-fi – but they do not recommend purchasing the movie. Miss K thinks it’s a dark movie. Smartest Monkey’s descriptor was “heavy.”

Ep 62 features a longer than usual crafting segment. This one is going to run about 10 minutes – more than our usual bits
Then there is also a long houskeeping portion of the podcast where I remind everyone of the upcoming read-along, the Tour De Fleece Team Sasquatch, the Joneway Bond Girl Name contest, and solict donations of recordings for our own book reviews.
Lastly, there is a review of a series I’ve just finished reading called by Tony Ballantyne – I accidentally skipped the second book – but I did read the 1st and 3rd books: Recursion and Divergence. Because I find it impossible to talk about these books without spoilers, there wasn’t much of a review as an overall appreciation for the author’s writing style.

Episode 58 is about knitting, spinning, and sci – fi. No surprise there, I guess. But, Miss K does wax poetic about how she loves TNG, DS9, and now Voyager. (hence falling for the 3rd time as the title). But, ever the Clark Kenter – she has a few bones to pick with the show about crew numbers.

We made it to Episode 50! Whew!
Well, here we are – and what an episode it is. Miss K talks about the lovely gift she received from Gigi, and learning how to seam with single crochet – as well as the benefits of slipping the first stitch on a garment that is going to be seamed.
Second – Smartest Monkey and Miss Kalendar talk about the various BAD IDEAS that have come up on Star Trek – like lettingData anywhere near a starship after he’s taken over the Enterprise a few times – or using the Holideck after it’s broken consistently and killed people….
